Clarendon Road, Notting Hill W11
A truly exceptional prominent low built family house with off street parking. Following an extensive rebuild its all new interior can only be described as a blend of the best from the past, the precision of the present with a hint of the future.
Below is an extract from a Legal document dated 1844:
In 1844 William Reynolds, builder, bought a plot of land measuring 100ft deep by 52 feet 6 inches wide in Notting Hill in the county of Middlesex onto which he build Clarendon Lodge, a detached villa being one of only four lodges built in the immediate area. On completion of the building he was obliged to build the access road, known then as Clarendon Terrace.
Clarendon Road runs off Holland Park Avenue in Notting Hill. It is close to Holland Park and bustling Portobello Road, bohemian Westbourne Grove with its stylish boutiques and cafés and Kensington.
