Women behind the camera

As part of the Nour Festival of Arts, the Electric is hosting as evening with some of the Middle East’s most up and coming female film makers. The discussion will centre around these women’s experiences, the opportunities and the challenges they face, along side the role of women in giving Middle Eastern and North African cinema its unique voice. The panel is chaired by curator, writer and producer Rose Issa, and comprises Sara Ishaq, Tina Gharavi and Nadine Khan. This fab soiree is on Sunday 2nd November at 5.30pm and will last around 90 minutes (always worth knowing). Tickets are from £12.50 and will be on sale from today 10th October. electriccinema
