Like all Notting Hillers, Wilson celebrates Thanksgiving, first by placing an order at Ottolenghi, then by hosting a dinner even though technically he has nothing whatsoever to do with America’s Founding Fathers. Thanksgiving has been renamed Friendsgiving which means that those not invited to a British household pretending to be American must feel really left out. After spending £200 on an artisanal turkey raised on kale, Notting Hillers generously share their leftovers with their four-legged friends. There’s so much to be thankful for, Wilson thinks.
