Valentine be mine

Wow your loved one with a gorgeous present. Pop down to Lutyens and Rubinstein in Kensington Park Road for a copy of the Picador Book of Love Peoms or Shapely AnklePreferr’d: a history of the Lonely Hearts ad by Francesca Beauman. Or how about an organic heart shaped shortbread biscuit from Daylesford’s on Westbourne Grove? You could nibble while watching the box set of Notting Hill director Richard Curtis’ films, mmmm. Failing that, and if you have given up trying to woo a fellow human, how about a ball for your dog? Give Trudie a treat and she will love you forever,  from Clarendon Cross Canines They also have rather nice rubber cows decorated with hearts for a game of after dinner catch.
