Tips for avoiding a Christmas lard arse

  • Have an Epsom salt bath to detoxify from a heavy night.
  • Never snack – not even a sneaky Quality Street or mince pie.
  • Do a Tabata workout everyday for two weeks – skip or do burpees flat out for 20 seconds then 10 second rest for total of 4 minutes.
  • Drink at least 2 litres of water throughout the day.
  • Avoid canapés and fizzy soft drinks.
  • Do exercise first thing in the morning on an empty stomach to burn fat.
  • Exert yourself for 30 minutes every day including Christmas Day.
  • Get plenty of sleep so you are less likely to reach for the sweets later in the day.
  • Start the day well and avoid anything with sugar for breakfast.
  • Dust off your old DVD workout or download a HITT app for some motivation.
  • Eat well to feel well so avoid processed food as much as possible.

Merry Christmas.
