Tinker, tailor, soldier to help you clear your house or office

If you have the odd table, bed, lamp or floor you want to get rid of, The Good Rubbish Company will move anything you like, even if it is broken, and then take it somewhere to be used or made into something
useful. It’s founder is ex-Household Cavalry officer Dickon Leigh-Wood (above). He only employs army veterans as he believes: “Soldiers provide military efficiency, honesty and loyalty to each other and through our training programs we teach furniture renovation skills where each item rebuilt is sold and the revenue returns to our training programmes to further help others.” The company aim is ‘to put zero to landfill by being as green and innovative as possible’. The company partners¬†both military and homeless charities aiming to help those who have served and others who have fallen on hard times. Through training programs the company teaches furniture renovation skills where each item rebuilt is sold and the revenue pumped back into the training programmes to help others. thegoodrubbishcompany
