All thing’s bright and beautiful

Paradise (by way of Kensal Green) will be transforming into a harvest festival bonanza barn this weekend, 28th and 29th September in celebration of street food, country pursuits, music and more. Across from Paradise, on Saturday from 2pm-8pm, in the church courtyard there will be a food market with all the pitch fees from the food trucks going to Action Aid, the Paradise charity du choix. Here’s a taste of what to expect; Innocent Drinks, Motherclucker, Rainbofood, Dosa Deli, Mama’s Jerk Station, Good & Proper Tea, Pearl & Groove and Cheeky Italian. Also on Saturday you can join cookery classes from 12.30pm try Hungry Gap Vegetables or there is another class called Meat the Sausage, clearly not one for vegans – they cost £10. The highlight is a petting farm in the Paradise garden on Sunday from noon to 3pm which is free where you can share the love with sheep, pigs, ducks and chickens. Finally on both days there is a free barn dance ‘yee hah’ from 2pm to 11am with an all day toe-tapping music programme. All creatures great and small are welcome. AMANDA
