Dreaming of a white Christmas

White is the colour for the next couple of weeks at The Muse Gallery on Portobello Road, with it’s new group Christmas show … White. Inside there are paintings, drawings and sculptures, all in white of course for you minimalists. There are fabulous polar bear cloth pieces which are strangely alluring, a simple drawing of hands which is really compelling too, they reach out to you, slightly cupped as if asking for something. Then a bird soaring and right at the end a statuesque tree, bathed in white, with dead black birds scattered around the base of its trunk so you have to search for what catastrophe has happened. It’s a great exhibition, with good prices starting at £60 and going all the way up to £2,400 for carefully curated original art. On until 20th December, Thursday-Sunday, 12.00-6.00pm themuseat
