The last post

After eight brilliant years Notting Hill Post is taking a big break. Thank you to our readers and to everyone who has passed on vital Notting Hill info. A huge thank you to Councillor Julie Mills and the Norland Ward who helped us set up and to all the advertisers but especially Knight Frank estate agent, who has kept us afloat for the last three years. We are now looking for a fat lady with a good voice. We haven’t yet found one, so it ain’t quite over.

  • The Post has been a brilliant, helpful, generally lovely thing to receive each week. Thank you both very much. Not surprising you need to take a breather. I hope you each find your heart’s desire in the next project.

  • Sorry that like all good things … The Nottinghill Post aka Pavlova Diaries was always good, sometimes brilliant! You will be missed.

  • Wishing you Amanda – and you both – all the v best in your next adventures.

I’ve loved the local insights, community vibe and humour. And having just moved to deepest darkest Peckham, I can vouch for the fact that your missive was a link across town that made me feel like I was back in me ‘ole manor!

    You will indeed be missed,
    Thank you.

  • Thankyou! Was a creative, whacky, interesting, idiosyncratic, marvellous service. Wishing you the best of the best good wishes to you both wherever you go and whatever you do next xx

  • I first learned about the NHP when you snagged me in Lutyens & Rubinstein. As a part-time resident of Notting Hill, I have been delighted by your weekly missives and will genuinely miss them. Bonne chance et bon courage.
