Medieval supper club

The Idler is having another feast. This time it’s a medieval feast with readings from Boccaccio’s bawdy collection of tales The Decameron.  A chef called Federico Gangemi di Quintogusto will cook up Italian medieval recipes like white leek soup with almond milk and Green pie. There will be merry ballads by lutist Chris Goodwin (pic) who has played at private dos for Ringo Starr and Sir Jock Stirrup (what a great name) and the Tales will be read by actress Queenie Ingrams.  Oh, and you should dress as medieval aristocracy. It sounds like great fun and good value at £45. The Idler Academy, Westbourne Park Road, More at … idler.co.uk
