Talk about protecting London’s Skyline

Barbara Weiss, architect and activist, will be talking about protecting London’s Skyline in Kensington Town Hall on Tuesday 2nd February at 6:30-8:30pm. Here’s the reason to care: “Over 200 tall buildings, from 20 storeys to much greater heights, are currently consented or proposed. Many of them show little consideration for scale and setting, make minimal contributions to the public realm or street-level experience and are designed without concern for their cumulative effect and impact.”. Architect Barbara Weiss, one of the founders of the Skyline campaign, will highlight the need for a city-wide debate and structured policy. Tickets are £5 for non KS members and free to members there will be a Q and A at the end of the talk. kensingtonsociety
