On September 13th this year a group will be taking on the “3 Peaks Challenge” in aid of the Dyslexia Teaching Centre Trust. They will be attempting to reach the summits of the three highest mountains in the UK: Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales – in just 24 hours. Raising £10,000is the aim. Expanding the centres work in local state primary schools helping disadvantaged children struggling with dyslexia is what the money raised will be used for. A busy teaching and assessment centre, the Dyslexia Teaching Centre provides highly qualified, specialist support for children and adults of all ages, enabling individuals to acquire the skills needed for success in education, the workplace and everyday life.
