Summer in the City

Screen Shot 2014-06-27 at 11.56.44Summer 2014 in London should be amazing for young people in the Royal Borough thanks to the Summer in the City programme. Literally hundreds of activities across the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster and Hammersmith & Fulham have been organised for 2014. Everything is either free or inexpensive. You can try family days out, dance classes and sports camps, there is something for everyone, from making and performing with puppets to a motocross day in North Kensington. Children with disabilities are well catered for with events and activities run by specialist groups like Mencap and Action on Disability, and disability sports are provided by EPIC. Just quickly scanning the list I have noted parcour, cricket, kayaking, football and tennis. Copies of the brochure will be available in a variety of places across the three boroughs including schools, libraries, council buildings, children’s centres and youth clubs alternatively download it at summerinthecity
