Skate, dine and bowl at revamped Queensway

Great news for skaters and bowlers the Queensway Skate and Bowl has been given a massive facelift (much needed). It now boasts a diner called Jimmy’s, where you can whet your whistle or wind down chomping on dishes like mac and cheese, sticky bangers or lobster hotdogs, all cooked up by Jimmy Garcia. At the ice rink non-skaters can snuggle under blankets and enjoy a cocktail or mulled wine. Classes are held every week and you can learn to skate  – useful – or try curling and ice hockey. The 12 lane bowling alley has been completely rebuilt with wonderful art by the Graffiti Kings. You can bowl and dine with an on-lane menu from Jimmy or try a cocktail and enjoy the vibe being spun out by the DJs – I feel a new favourite is here.
