Silent Film with Organ Accompaniment

Following on from sell-out showings of The Cameraman, The Wind, Steamboat Bill Jr and Wings, leading film organist Donald MacKenzie returns to St John’s church to enhance this big-screen showing of Alfred Hitchcock’s The Lodger starring Ivor Novello with some spooky music. A serial killer known as ‘The Avenger’ is murdering blonde women on the foggy streets of London just as a mysterious man arrives at the house of Mr and Mrs Bunting looking for a room to rent … da da daaa. Just £10 per ticket. The Lodger (1927), at St John’s Notting Hill, Lansdowne Crescent, Friday 14th October at 8.00pm. stjohnsorganproject
