Shakespeare at Notting Hill Bookshop

Shakespeare expert Robert Stagg will be leading group readings and discussions of several plays by the Bard every Tuesday from 3rd November in The Notting Hill Bookshop. The first to be read will be The Scottish play: a tale of greed, morality and power. Each session will be led by Robert, a Wolfson Scholar in the Humanities, who has taught Shakespeare and Renaissance literature at Oxford, London and Southampton universities. Robert is currently writing a thesis titled Shakespeare’s Defence of Poetry. He is a consultant dramaturg for Changeling Theatre and an academic adviser for all Shakespeare in the Shoreditch Festival. Tickets are £10 per session from Tuesday 3rd November at 8pm.
