Rita Konig’s interior design classes

So many Notting Hill houses are being bashed into submission, here is the perfect thing for all those about to launch into a hammer horror of your own. Interior’s columnist for House & Garden and expert Rita Konig will be sharing her knowledge at two workshops at her Notting Hill home. Here is the gist, and you get to eat cake too.   You find out how to lay out a room and get the electrics right, top insider tips for planning a kitchen, a bit on entertaining called China cupboard to Larder which sounds very grand, plus info about bathrooms, colours and art and where to hang it for maximum effect. You’ll need the cake after all that. It sounds a great day, and costs £250 which is a fraction of what you would pay for someone to come in and do it all for you. 9th October and 6th November, 10am – 4pm.   To book email [email protected]
