Ribbon shop closing

Tom tom drums tell us that Lyndon’s the wonderful haberdasher on Portobello Road is shutting up shop next month after 35 years of trading there because…. the rents are to high now. Make way for another chain outlet and another nail in coffin of the Portobello entrepreneurial culture that sets it aside from other shopping streets. Why don’t we have some sort of package that supports and encourages sole traders? I love that ribbon shop. There will be a closing down sale and all the products will be available on-line.¬†habercrafts.
