Print Room’s Autumn season

The Print Room has now been resident in The Coronet for a year and has just announced its Autumn Season. TS Eliot’s rarely performed The Cocktail Party will be staged in the main auditorium and will be directed by Abby Wright. Opening on 14th September – 10th October this will be a lovely post summer indulgence.

From 15th October – 7th November, internationally-renowned Handspring Puppet Company (of Warhorse fame) presents its production of Ubu and the Truth Commission written by Jane Taylor, and directed by artist and film-maker William Kentridge. Google Kentridge he is very interesting.

Continuing the popular Poetry @ the Print Room series, there will be three poetry evenings in the studio space on Tuesday 13th October, Thursday 19th November and Tuesday 15th December, with contemporary poets reading and sharing their lyrical work.

From 11-18 November, in a co-production with the Institut Français, there will be a week-long presentation in the studio of Trois Ruptures / Three Splits, translated by Chris Campbell and directed by Marianne Badrichani , which premiered earlier this year at Chelsea Theatre.

In the run-up to Christmas, from 23rd November – 12th December, the final production for 2015 will be the enchanting Table of Delights, a unique theatre and food experience for children and adults presented as a co-production with Bristol’s Theatre Damfino and featuring recipes from Guardian food writer and chef Claire Thomson (author of 5 O’Clock Apron).
