Portobello Panto – oh yes it is

It is that time again – Oh no it isn’t, oh yes it is. Tickets are now on sale for the disreputable Portobello Panto. Dick Whit is this years show, the story of a poor orphan boy who makes his way to London in order to seek his fortune. But everything is not as it seems in the big city. Will he succeed or be just another footnote in The Metro? Warning: expect rats, cats and terrible raps. Tickets are £20 for a seat and £10 to stand with all proceeds going to charity, though it doesn’t say which one. Doors open for festive fun at 6.30pm and the show goes up roughly at 7.30pm.
