Plans for new Lancaster Road library

Plans are afoot to move  Ladbroke Grove’s North Kensington Library round the corner to Lancaster Road to the council-run youth centre, which will get an upgrade at the same time. Building work will start in 2017 and the new library will be bigger and better than the old one, with spaces for different readerly activities. RBKC plans to lease out the old library, possibly for educational use (perhaps one of the nearby prep schools), and also rent out the commercial space on the upper floors. More at: rbkc.gov.uk
