Parsi cooking in Books for Cooks

The Art of Parsi Cooking:Reviving an Ancient Cuisine by Niloufer Mavalvala will be launched at Books for Cooks tonight, Thursday 28th July. Drop by between 5.30-8pm to see Niloufer demonstrating a selection of recipes from the book, including “Khatai” (sweet tea biscuits), coconut and green chutney, Prawn Patio served with small pita chips and Parsi Style Choi. There will also be wine. If you are reading this after the event buy the book instead.

Born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, Niloufer’s love for food combined with extensive world travel from a young age inspired her to experiment with world cuisines. In 2013, she decided to start a recipe blog Niloufer’s Kitchen where she loves to share old and new culinary creations to a following of 100,000 from around the world.
