Nuts and bolts of networking

Another in the great series of free lectures for small businesses is coming up, on networking, the act of meeting others in a business setting with an attempt to seek or find new connections. Whether you love it or hate it, there is an art to this important business activity. The seminar will cover:

·         How to introduce yourself properly?

·         Tips for excellent networking

·         How to escape unwanted conversations.

The evening is described as the perfect session for start up businesses, solo entrepreneurs or anyone who is required to ‘get out there and meet people’.

Amber Raney-Kincade, who will be teaching the evening, splits her time between tour guiding and working as a marketing consultant. She is a qualified guide in the City of London, Westminster and Camden. She holds an MBA in International Marketing and teaches social media courses at CityLit.

Kensington Central Library Lecture Theatre, Monday 13th March, introduction by the librarian 5.30pm – 6pm and then the talk 6pm -7.30pm. It’s free but best rsvp here … eventbrite
