Nour Festival is coming

The Nour Festival of Arts runs from 20th October to 8th November 2015 and is in its sixth year. Taking place over 20 days, Nour will present 50 events in 18 venues across K&C. Highlights include the UK and European premiere of Saudi photographer Adel Quraishi’s photographic portraits of the last Guardians of the Prophet’s Mosque at Medina, at Leighton House Museum; Franco-Moroccan singer Hindi Zahra at the Royal Albert Hall; movement from Lebanese dancer-choreographer Pierre Geagea; in conversation with Egyptian writer Nawal El Saadawi at the Mosaic Rooms; Ara-B-Less an evening of interactive art at Saatchi Gallery, featuring artists from across the Middle East North African (MENA) region; and a chance to savour contemporary twists on traditional dishes from the Arabian Gulf region with chefs Adla Al-Sharhan (Kuwait) and Nadeen Aujan (Saudi Arabia/UK) at Jamie Oliver’s Recipease on Notting Hill Gate.
