New Wetherby School for the teen years

Exciting news for parents with sons, Wetherby, the famous local pre prep school in Notting Hill has added a fourth string to its academic bow, a senior school. You can now be educated there from nursery through to A-levels, ages two and an half to 18. Wetherby Senior is in Marylebone Lane and it opened its doors to its first set of pupils this September. It is a four form entry school with around 15 boys in each class, creating a roll call of 400 boys once it is full, which with Wetherby’s reputation won’t take long. Inside the rather beautiful building you will find 20 classrooms,¬†five science laboratories, two art studios, a music suite and a multipurpose theatre in an area of over 22,000 square feet. Nick Baker is the head and for those who haven’t heard of him, he is also the head of the prep school in Bryanston Square where he has done an amazing job. Notting Hill Post will plans to visit the school after half term.
