New science museum gallery opens in time for Half term

Here’s one for a rainy half term day. The Science Museum has opened a great interactive gallery to inspire wonder and delight. Sir David Attenborough opened the new gallery, and he says: “I was one of the first visitors to the original Children’s Gallery, which opened back in 1931, and can still remember the wonderful door that opened before I had even reached it.” Now you can take your child to the Wonderlab: The Statoil Gallery, the UK’s biggest interactive science gallery, filled with specially-commissioned exhibits and artworks, live science shows and explosive demonstrations. The £6M gallery is great for all ages and has 50 exhibits across seven zones. Day Pass costs £14 adult, £10 child, £39 family. sciencemuseum
