New responsible scheme for retailers

A Responsible Retailers scheme has just been launched in K and C  to encourage shops et al., to be more civic minded. At the moment it is a voluntary agreement between local businesses and the Council but those that sign up to the scheme will receive a certificate and window sticker, as well as support from the Council. So far seventeen businesses have signed up. They include: Comptoir Libanais, Casa Brindisa, Le Pain Quotidian, Cafe Cremerie, Bubbleology, Honest Burgers, Wafflemeister and Gails Bakery. The idea is to encourage business to be help keep the environ litter free and all that sort of fandango. responsibleretailersscheme
