New funny course for an older crowd

Up to now anyone over 15 years of age has had to exit the School of Comedy and take their gags elsewhere. Now you can join a new eight week Thursday course for ages 15-18 at the Tabard Theatre on Bath Road from 5pm-6.15pm starting in just three weeks time on 30th April. Learning how to write and perform your own work is the main thrust and students will be encouraged to put words on the page, be bold, make mistakes and learn. Harry Michell and Lowell Belfield, award winning sketch comedians and graduates of the Cambridge Footlights will be teaching. Both are very funny Edinburgh Festival veterans who perform regularly on the comedy circuit with their sketch groups ‘I Am, I Am’ and ‘Minor Delays’. schoolofcomedy
