Eat, drink, dance

LazersYou can find food, music and contemporary art at Notting Hill’s new entertainment space MODE, under the Westway where the Supper Club used to be. The deal is you feast on vodka and blood orange cured salmon, Longhorn beef carpaccio or a quinoa burger, munch some fries, gobble down some caramel and coconut tart then, once the tables are moved away, dance it all off. The most exciting evening to go must be Thursday, when MODE Live will showcase live world music performances with a great band or solo artist. But you don’t know who will be playing. Big secret. But Groove Armada has already played and maybe they will again. We have seen the pictures and the interiors look really wonderful too with a comfy-looking private dining area on the second floor. MODE, Aklam Road. Wednesday – Saturday, dinner starts at £26. modecollective
