Heigh-ho, heigh-ho it’s off to work we go

London Children’s Ballet, founded by Lucille Briance 21 years ago to inspire children and help them fulfil their ballet potential whatever their background, is in rehearsal for a Spring production of Snow White. The show is full of potential stars like Lee Hoy who is now performing in Billy Elliot and Ruth Brill, now first artist with the Birmingham Royal Ballet. This year Jenna Lee is choreographer. “She was a soloist and choreographer with the English National Ballet until this summer and she is a particularly dramatic and creative choreographer,” says Zoe Vickerman, LCB’s executive director. It will be professional, colourful and energetic  and great to take a group of children to. Central line to Holborn. Tickets from £14 on sale now at sadlerswells

Also, hot off the press, London Children’s Ballet are looking to recruit a really excellent candidate to join the LCB team in a pivotal role, replacing the Administrative Director who retired last year (after 20 years working with LCB). “We are looking for someone who is strong in management and who will run the fundraising side.” says Vickerman. Email her at [email protected] for a job description. Go on, it will be local so you won’t have to commute, working with great people and creatives on a really worthwhile project with a good salary.
