Lindsay Pickett show at The Muse

The Muse gallery has unveiled a solo show of new paintings by London-based surrealist artist Lindsay Pickett. He has made dreamy landscapes in oils on canvas, linen and board which reveal hidden aspects of well-known London places set against strange juxtapositions of impossible architecture and faraway lands. He experiments with drawings and photography to create extraordinary surrealist cityscapes, animals and figures. His work is also collected in Japan, Korea and Germany, where he has also exhibited. The Muse, 269 Portobello Road near to the Westway, opens Thursday – Sunday, 12pm – 6pm. themuseat269
