New art gallery for Clarendon Cross

Lacey Contemporary Gallery is opening next week at Clarendon Cross, where Cath Kidston’s old shop used to be and which has been empty for at least a year. The new gallery will be focusing on British based artists, and  Andrew Lacey, who has set up the gallery with two others, says it will host other events like music evenings and film nights too: “We don’t want to become just a hanging gallery, we want to have live events and be a welcoming space for the community.” Notting Hill Post readers are invited to the launch, 6pm on Thursday 9 October. Some of the neighbouring shops will be open late then too, sound fun.  laceycontemporarygallery
