Notting Hill Gate refurb

Screen Shot 2013-12-19 at 10.23.23Plans to upgrade the streets and buildings at Notting Hill Gate have had a definite ‘yes’ from everyone who voted last September after seeing the council’s plans. The dingy streets and buildings have had three main proposals, either to refurbish the area, refresh the area, or more radically to have a complete rethink, which took 60% of the votes. The Notting Hill Gate planning documents, which involve greening the area and replacing and enhancing some of the ugly buildings is all outlined in a planning document. A second Transport and Streets document has ideas on signs and improving cycling routes and pavements. To have your say your comments need to be in by midnight on 23rd January.  You can view the documents at www.rbkc.gov.uk/planningandconservation or peruse them at any of the local libraries or the Planning Information office at the Town Hall.  The form to fill in is at planningconsult.rbkc.gov.uk
