Saatchi exhibition at Griffin Gallery

252257-12928748-11An exhibition of portraits starts this week at the Griffin Gallery in Evesham Street. Called Painted Faces, the exhibition will show work by ten artists from around the world are finalists of a competition called Saatchi Online Showdown. The portraits were judged in collaboration with Winsor and Newton who are giving winner Miguel Laino (his portrait in pic) £1,000 worth of art materials. The Griffin Gallery is great, worth hunting down, and you could pop in for lunch opposite at the Nottingdale Cafe. It is just off St Annes Road, turn left at the Embassy Cafe, and it is near the Talk Talk buildings. Griffin Gallery, The Studio Building, 21 Evesham Street. 10am-5pm, Saturdays 10am-4pm.
