An idle Christmas

Pop into the Idler for a spot of Christmas shopping. Think beautiful books you will never find on-line, Folio society and first edition signed copies from authors including Will Self, Antonia Fraser, Tristan Gooley and then there is a completely covetable collection of Penguin hardbacks. Calendars, mugs, pencils, cards, tea towels, exercise books and ukuleles are also on sale and will happily fill a literary stocking or two. Purchases can be gift-wrapped and you can grab a free Idler snail badge while you are waiting. The Idler Academy Book Club is a new one. This is a simple gift system whereby Idler staff will send a book every month of their own choosing. Building a lovely idle library is the idea and the odd pencil and badge will be popped into the package. Don’t forget the eclectic courses run by this idle establishment which always make amazing presents for the very idle. idler
