Sculpture for Napoleon

Gloria Zein has been selected by the jury to display her outdoor work TH.I.W.H (This is what happened) in Holland Park’s Napoleon Garden from late April. It is the fourth year RBKC and the Royal British Society of Sculptors has collaborated to bring a sculpture to the garden. If you happen to potter in the shed or are a real life brilliant sculptor the Society of Sculptors is looking for a ‘robust’ outdoor work of around 3 metres high for a busy public central London location for exhibition for a 6 month period from May this year. What an opportunity, find out more here … rbs.org

You could think up a good idea while idling in the park. The Friends’ of Holland Park’s next Bird and Nature Walk is this Saturday, 7th February. It is a stroll through the park looking at birds, plants and butterflies. There is no charge and all are welcome without booking. Meet outside the café but you won’t be able to combine it with a dog walk as those squirrel chasers disturb the wildlife. They say to bring binoculars if you can. thefriendsofhollandpark
