Jeanette Winterson to talk about The Gap of Time

Author Jeanette Winterson’s will be talking about her writing and her new book The Gap of Time at St Peter’s Church, Kensington Park Road. You might want to do your homework and read her autobiography Why be Happy when you can be Normal during the summer. Before that in September there are still tickets left to hear the page turning storyteller Michael Morpurgo at the Tabernacle. Morpurgo has written 130 books for children, including Private Peaceful, The Butterfly Lion, Kensuke’s Kingdom and War Horse. His latest novel is Listen to the Moon. Also talking will be Andrew Roberts on Napoleon the Great, James Rhodes on music and instruments, and Martin Rees on the world in 2050. It’s a great line up and best book early from your deckchair. 23rd September, 7pm at The Tabernacle.
