Have your face on the Palace

Face Britain is a nationwide project asking every child in Britain to submit a self-portrait. Each one will become part of a giant record-breaking mosaic of the Queen, each portrait becoming a pixel projected onto Buckingham Palace, to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the run up to the Olympics. So come on children of Notting Hill, splash a brush full of paint around or go to the website and create your portrait online under the heading Create a Portrait. The scheme is being organised by The Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts and is open to four – 16 year olds. Entries will be accepted up to 31st March. Great website with games too at www.facebritain.org.uk
