Free garden tours around palace

KEN070Historic Royal Palaces has such a great range of summer events. How about a free historical garden tour of the gardens around Kensington Palace? The walk includes a talk about the recent development of the grounds and part of the tour gives you exclusive access into the beautiful Baroque-inspired Sunken Garden, which is normally closed to the public. Sign up at the Reception, located near the Palace Entrance. Palace ticket not required. Free. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday until 27 September at 12 – 1pm and 2 – 3pm. KensingtonPalace

There will also be three nights of open air cinema, 6, 7 and 8 August. Back to the Future, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and The Great Gatsby. Quite pricey at £16.50 for adults and £12.50 for children but something special for a sunny evening. There’s a link to tickets here … KensingtonPalace
