Free bicycle film favourites

Cyclists can enjoy their velocipedal passion on dark winter nights at a series of free cycle-themed films which will be shown in the very comfy lecture theatre at Kensington Central Library. Wonderful cycle safety promotors and teachers Bikeminded, which is supported by RBKC, will screen the films from now until next Spring. The first film, on Tuesday 27th October, is ‘The Kid with the Bike’ (Le gamin au vélo, pic) which will be screened in French with English subtitles.

The 90-minute feature film, directed by the Dardenne brothers, is about the story of a 12-year-old boy searching for his father and his lost bike. Doors open at 7pm and the film starts at 7.30pm. To book your free ticket and for information on other films, contact Bikeminded, email [email protected] and more about Bikeminded here, well worth doing one of their free cycle safety lessons … bikeminded
