Find out about modern slavery

To mark the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade there will be a free film evening in Kensington Town Hall. RBKC is hosting the evening with the charity Unchosen. A number of short films showing the impact of slavery in the UK today will be shown on  Organisations working to combat modern slavery will have stalls at the event and there will be a Q&A with a panel of local experts after the films. Millions of people around the world and thousands in the UK are sold into exploitation and slavery every year – but it is a crime that takes place in the shadows.

Unchosen uses film to tell people and professionals about modern slavery in the UK and where slavery is hiding in our communities, and what you can do about it. On Tuesday 28th March in the Small Hall of Kensington Town Hall from 6.30pm – 8pm.
