Explosive new play at the Gate

The lights are back up at the Gate Theatre next week with “an explosive” new play. I call my Brothers is by Jonas Hassen Khemiri, a novelist and playwright whose latest novel Everything I don’t Remember won Sweden’s most prestigious literary prize: the August Award. Here is the gen: A car explodes and the city is brought to a standstill. Spend 24 hours (actually under two) with Amor post bomb as he navigates the city, while unfortunately looking like a terrorist from central casting. It is apparently funny, which tips the balance for me – two tickets please. gatetheatre
