DripApp for independent cafes

Dubbed the oyster card for flat whites, DripApp is a new mobile app for London’s best independent coffee shops. Your daily latte comes in at nearly half price, and your first coffee is free, if you use the app and it might entice you to try a new place for coffee, one of the carefully selected feature-image-Ruben-and-Jeremy-inside-Friends-of-Ours-coffee-shopindependents on the app. Six cafes taking part in Notting Hill are Pedlars, Melt on both Clarendon and Ledbury Roads, CRU cafe on Portland, Golborne Deli, Pearl & Groove and also Tiny Leaf.

It works out at £21 for 10 cappuccinos, £2.10 each, or you could go caffeine crazy and bulk buy at £89 a month for unlimited lattes. That’s less than £3 a day if you are a heavy caff user. You could literally be on a coffee drip, it’s all in the name.

Founded by friends Ruben Grigri and Jeremy Cortial (pic right) who wanted to make it as easy to get a cup of really great coffee from a small independent as it was to end up in one of the big chains, the app means if you are out of cash or forgotton your card it’s super easy to pay with your phone. dripapp
