Christmas shopping nights… ah

Now genuinely we love these local Notting Hill Christmas shopping nights. A brisk evening, fairy lights twinkling,  a little glass or two of wine, a warm mince pie, the band parping out a festive tune or two and your credit card dancing the zumba in your wallet. Heaven – take a friend. Clarendon Cross is first up, on the 30th November and from 5 to 8.30pm it will be transformed into the above. Summerhill and Bishop will have drinks and The Cross is offering a nibble while you shop and the band plays on.

Take a stroll along Westbourne Grove and Ledbury Road on December 8th, between 4-9pm and you will find most of the shops are handing out champagne, canapes, goodie bags (yes please) and more importantly discounts – apparently Heidi Klein will be knocking 25% off its cozzies. Word on the street says expect mince pies, carol singers and a Christmas tree.

These two are too good to miss – best make an immediate note somewhere.
