Bush Green lates and debates

w320_4764625_incognitodebateLates and Debates are two new fun and engaging events happening at The Bush Theatre. Each Bush play will have a Late and then a Debate. A Late is a late night event where various people reflect on the play alongside music, a DJ and a pop up bar. A live debate happens postshow and enables committed theatre goers and the theatre industry to discuss the play. Incognito by Nick Payne is on at the moment and the Late will be on the 28th May at 9.15pm in the studio with Alom Shaha (author of The Young Atheist’s Handbook) and Pint of Science ft. Amy Birch, Praveen Paul and Michael Motskin. Tickets are a fiver and the Wild Beer Co. will throw in a free beer. The Debate around Incognito is on 2nd June and will be chaired by Jon Spooner who will be joined by Uta Frith, Narinder Kapur and Molly Crockett. This panel will look at the question: Does the brain’s wiring make us who we are? Tickets are £5 or free for those who are at the show that night. Have I made that clear? I think so. Incidentally Incognito has had rave reviews and there are two nights left that aren’t sold out: here’s a taste: “The brain builds a narrative to steady us from moment to moment, but it is absolutely an illusion. There is no me, there is no you, and there is certainly no self.”   bushtheatre.co.uk
