Burgers wing their way to you

Screen Shot 2014-02-13 at 09.49.10Send out for a burger from the Flying Burger Company and a Net-a-Porter-smart delivery person arrives bag-in-hand wearing a flying jacket and a moustache. All very reassuring and the burger was well presented too, with a delicious flavour and colourful side dishes: right pink coleslaw, deep yellow sweetcorn fritters and crunchy chips. The whole thing, temporarily being made in a kitchen behind Westfield, is based on a flying theme and the airmail pioneers of the 1920s and ‘30s. “Our patties are freshly made daily, using 100% Aberdeen pasture reared grass-fed cattle, aged on the bone for at least 28 days. We use two patties, three in our jumbo jet Lindbergher, per burger,” says the company’s Libby Nightingale. http://www.flyingburger.co
