Artists wanted for Portobello wall project

photoCalling all artists. There is still time to submit a proposal for the Portobello Road North Wall public art project. This years work by Fiona Hawthorne has really cheered up a wander up the road and this years theme, Heart of the Community sounds good. The Council says it is keen to encourage submissions across a wide range of visual arts media and the work will be displayed for a minimum of six months from end of July. It has to be relevant to the local area like Hawthorne’s mixed media installation and also be suitable for an outdoor site. Send six images, a written proposal and a budget and you’re off. Proposals must be sent by email by Friday, 14 March to rbkc.newsweaver.co.uk
