Here’s one for us nature loving types. There are lots of exciting wildlife adventures to be enjoyed at the Ecology Centre this month and next.
First up is the Apple Day celebration we’ve already written about, apple pressing and apple tasting plus games and craft for the whole family to enjoy. It’s free, just drop-in between 11am-4pm, Holland Park Ecology Centre, on Saturday 22nd October.
Then there’s an illustrated talk by professional ornithologist David Darrell-Lambert on The Birds of Holland Park on Thursday 27th October, at 7pm and organised by The Friends of Holland Park in the Orangery. Lastly, there is a Fungi Foray. Search the Wildlife Area and other enclosures with expert Mark Spencer from the Natural History Museum to find the fungi on display at this time of year.
