Tickets out now for McQueen show

Alexander McQueen’s subversive, perfectly tailored, sometimes Gothic, sometimes inspired by wild animals and often romantic designs will be shown in an extravagant V&A blockbuster next spring. McQueen died in 2010 aged just 40. Savage Beauty, with 200 outfits, was one of the most popular exhibitions when at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Now we can see it here, with 30 added extras from private collections, including early pieces from the Isabella Blow Collection, McQueen’s designs were always dramatic and challenging and exciting, and as Sarah Burton, creative director at Alexander McQueen says: “Savage Beauty is a celebration of the most imaginative and talented designer of our time. Lee was a genius and a true visionary  who pushed boundaries, challenged and inspired.” If you really want to see the show best book now, even though it seems crazily early. Click here for tickets …
