Affordable Art for charity

Unknown-5Drop into the RR Gallery above St Peter’s Church on Thursday 5th June at 6.30-8.30pm for drinks and canapés but more importantly to preview the annual 240 Artworks show. Around 50 pieces of art as well as craft work and photography will make up the exhibition with all the proceeds going to the 240 Project. Based on Lancaster Road the 240 project supports vulnerable people who have been affected by homelessness or exclusion, by providing somewhere to go and something to do. A range of creative arts groups and health improving activities are on offer. It also offers one-to-one sessions in cooking, budgeting, tenant relations, and working through debt. On the preview night you can support the charity by buying one of the pieces which have been painted by those benefiting from this initiative and which are very AFFORDABLE. 240project
